Sri Lanka Vocational Training closed immediately

On the orders of Rishad Bathiudeen, the Minister in charge, all the institutions coming under the Ministry of Vocational Training and Skills Development and SLITA  are shut down with immediate effect.

Accordingly, all training courses conducted by the National Institute of Technical Education, Ocean University of Sri Lanka (National Institute of Fisheries and Nautical  Engineering), Ceylon German Technical Training Institute, National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority, National Institute of Business Management, Skills Development Fund Ltd,  Sri Lanka Institute of Printing, Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka, Department of Technical Education  and Training, Sri Lanka Institute of Textile and Apparel (Ratmalana), NSBM, and University of Vocational Technology are closed with immediate effect. All the branches of these institutions across the island too shall remain closed.

These institutions and their branches shall stay closed till Sunday 28 April 2019.
